Overview And Experience

Tami joined the firm in 2024. Her practice areas encompass all aspects of estate planning, elder law and estate administration. She meets with clients to draft wills and trust agreements, establish eldercare plans and craft comprehensive tax strategies. Tami also handles many components of estate administration including probate petitions, estate tax returns and the management of estate assets and liabilities. She chose this field after observing its importance and impact upon her own family, and she is committed to serving her clients the way she would want to be treated herself.

Previously, Tami worked as a prosecutor for the Manhattan District Attorney’s office where she spent seven years handling hundreds of cases from intake through discovery, motion practice and trial. Tami was also awarded the Power-Cotchett Public Interest Law fellowship at Public Justice in Washington DC, where she focused on appellate-level impact-litigation. In addition to her legal career, Tami is a National Emmy Award winning documentary filmmaker. Her most recent works have appeared on HBO and Netflix. She sits on the Board of Directors of one of the nation’s most respected not-for-profit media arts education organizations. Tami speaks Japanese and basic Spanish.
