Melissa Manna-Williams
Overview And Experience
Melissa joined Cohen, Soloway & Wooldridge, P.C., in 2024, and has practiced in the areas of estate planning and estate administration for over 14 years. She counsels individuals and families in developing estate plans and works closely with clients during the process of administering estates.
Melissa advises clients on estate tax and asset protection issues, as well as long-term care planning. She has a breadth of experience preparing estate planning documents and is well versed in drafting various trusts to meet the goals of the client, including Grantor Trusts, Life Insurance Trusts, and Supplemental Needs Trusts. She works with fiduciaries to gather and distribute estate assets and helps clients navigate the estate administration process, including probate and the settlement of trusts.
Prior to joining the firm, Melissa was a partner at a law firm in Ulster County, New York. Melissa serves on the Board of Trustees of the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley and is a current member and past president of the Board of the Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council.
